2 · Enable web services
Turn on web services and the REST protocol, then authorise your user on the plugin's service.
Turn on web services
- Site administration → Advanced features → tick Enable web services and save.
Enable REST
- Site administration → Server → Web services → Manage protocols.
- Enable REST protocol.
Authorise your user
- Server → Web services → External services.
- Open MCP Bridge Service (shipped by the plugin, all functions attached).
- Under Authorised users, add the account the AI will act as.
Least privilege: the AI can only do what this user is allowed to do. Use a dedicated service account with just the capabilities you want to expose.
